It was a brilliant day again, as it has been each year when years 4 and 5 were chefs for the day, with the support of Mary and her team from the Christchurch Food Festival Education Trust. The children experienced cooking and tasting some delicious dishes, with the recipes being sent home to recreate. They also learnt about the importance of a balanced diet, particularly looking into the amount of sugar in popular drinks.
