Eight students from Twynham school completed a seven week Life Skills Course organised by the CFFET just before they broke up for Christmas. The course was kindly sponsored by Santander Bank and supported the students who were identified as needing additional support with all of the basics of cooking skills, including food hygiene and budgeting. They learnt how to make basic family meals, how to fillet fish and joint a chicken. During the course they visited the Pig Hotel at Brockenhurst to see their fantastic gardens and were shown around by Executive Head chef James Golding.

Pics show the students cooking for their parents and teachers on the last day and enjoying the food at the end!

Students from the Grange school also took part in a course at their school which was kindly supported by the Clingan’s Trust.
