The primary school cookery team are busy visiting schools in Christchurch to carry out their popular cookery days. The theme this year is the ‘Rainbow’ as children are encouraged to eat as many colours of fruit and vegetables as possible. In all the team prepare five recipes including a rainbow salad and sugar free flapjacks. The children take part in cooking chicken chow mein, a breakfast omelette and fishcakes with a tomato salsa.
